Semi-Private Pottery Wheel Throwing Workshop (3 weeks, Tuesday evenings)
Ever wanted to try out pottery to make your very own dishes, bowls, and cups, only to be intimidated by large group settings and long time commitments? In this 3-week semi-private workshop, you'll be introduced to the foundations of making pottery on the wheel from a lump of clay to a finished glazed piece. This is a small group class (maximum 3 people) with dedicated hands-on instructor assistance for each person at every step of the process.
All experience levels are welcome. Ages 15+.
What you'll make each week:
Week 1 (Dec 1): Throwing a pot by centering, opening, and pulling up walls. Because of the short time frame, this will be done with instructor assistance.
Week 2 (Dec 8): Trim your pots with instructor assistance. Choose 2 to 3 pieces to keep.
Week 3 (Dec 15): Glaze your pieces.

Cost: $190 per student, all-inclusive (instruction, materials, tools, and firings)
Pickup: Finished pieces ready within 2 weeks of the last class
